At JD Reptiles, we pride ourselves on the health, quality, and condition of the reptiles and products we sell. Due to the nature of live animals and the care involved, we have specific guidelines for returns and refunds. Please carefully read through the sections below to ensure clarity on our policies.
1. Live Reptile Returns and Refunds
JD Reptiles maintains a policy of not allowing returns or refunds on any orders. However, there are rare cases where a refund or credit might be issued. The decision to provide refunds or credits lies entirely with JD Reptiles. Orders placed by mistake or from locations outside Lebanon will adhere to this return policy.

We guarantee that our reptiles will be alive and healthy upon arrival.
Issue with an order?
Animals that are Dead on Arrival (DOA) must be reported within 1 hour of delivery. Any other issues must be reported within 4 hours of delivery. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us first. - Due to the nature of live animals, all sales of reptiles are final. No returns will be accepted.
- Refunds will not be issued for customer negligence or improper care once the reptile is in your possession. We recommend seeking proper veterinary advice if suspecting any medical concerns.
2. Reptile Supplies and Accessories Returns
A. Eligibility for Return
- Non-live items such as reptile supplies and accessories can be returned within 3 days from the date of receipt.
- All returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition. Items that have been opened, used, or damaged are not eligible for return unless defective.
B. Refund or Exchange
- Returns can either be refunded to your original payment method or exchanged for a product of equal value.
- Shipping fees for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a mistake on our part (e.g., wrong item sent, defective product).
3. Shipping and Handling Costs
- Shipping and handling fees for both live reptiles and accessories are non-refundable except in cases where an error has occurred on our part, or the product was damaged in transit.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for non-defective items, including reptiles.
4. How to Initiate a Return or Refund
To initiate a return or request a refund, please contact us via phone. Provide the following information:
- Order number
- Name and contact information
- Reason for the return
- Photos (if applicable, damaged items)
Once your return is authorized, you will receive instructions on how to return the item(s). Please ensure all items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
5. Exceptions to the Policy
- Due to the specific nature of live reptiles and the conditions under which they must be cared for, we do not accept returns on reptiles for reasons of personal preference or inability to care for them properly.
- Reptile supplies or accessories that have been clearly marked as "final sale" or "clearance" are not eligible for return.
